The problem it fixes

Feedback misses the pattern behind the gaps.

A single gap between your rating and the evidence says little. A pattern across many facets shows how you tend to see yourself.

How it works

4 patterns, 1 verdict.

  1. Compare at least 4 facets

Your rating and the evidence score are set side by side, on 4 facets or more.

  2. Mark each real gap

A gap counts only past a set threshold for that scale. A move into a different zone always counts.

  3. Name the direction

Where most gaps point gives the pattern: Optimist (rates high), Self-Critic (rates low), Mixed Mirror (both) or Accurate Observer.

  4. Size the gap

A 2nd verdict says how far off you are: mild, moderate or severe.

The outcome

Feedback aimed at your pattern.

Coaching most likely lands better when it starts from how you tend to rate yourself, not from 1 number.

Results are most likely to follow if the process is followed properly, with good intention and best effort.
