The problem it fixes

Not every self-rating matches the facts.

When did a prediction about your business last prove right? Some people read their company closely; others miss blind spots. A fair score should know which.

How it works

5 questions set the tier.

  1. Answer 4 questions first

Before the audit: feedback history, prediction accuracy, blind spots and reflective practice.

  2. Get a calibration tier

Your answers place you in HIGH, AVG or LOW. The tier sets how much your own view counts: 50%, 35% or 25%.

  3. Check question 5 later

Question 5 is stored, then checked after the audit against what the evidence found.

  4. Get your validated score

The Validated Self-Awareness Score (V-SA) weighs questions 1-4 at 30%, question 5 at 30% and the audit gap at 40%.

Questions 1-4 come first. Question 5 is checked against the audit to give the validated score.

The outcome

Your view, weighted fairly.

Your own ratings most likely count as much as your track record supports, no more and no less.

Results are most likely to follow if the process is followed properly, with good intention and best effort.
