⚙️ Framework

Flow Gears Framework™: 4 gears, 1 steady flow of work

Work often stalls between idea and done. The Flow Gears Framework™ runs it through 4 gears, so work keeps moving.

We guarantee the system, never the revenue.

The idea

Capture, plan, do, review: 1 loop

Every piece of work passes through 4 jobs. Someone captures it, plans it, does it and checks it. The framework gives each job its own gear:

  • 🧠 Think Tank (CORE): capture and make sense of what you know.
  • 🎪 Base Camp (MAPS): plan and align before the work starts.
  • 🚀 Upsurge (AUDI): put the plan into motion.
  • 🧭 Compass (LENS): check where you are and correct course.

When 1 gear is missing, the others slip. Ideas are lost before they are planned, or work ships and nobody checks it. Which gear does your team skip when the week gets busy?

The 4 Flow Gears turn in 1 loop4 gears turn in a cycle around your work: CORE to capture, MAPS to plan, AUDI to do and LENS to review, then back to CORE.Yourwork🧠COREcapture🎪MAPSplan🚀AUDIdo🧭LENSreview

What Each Part Does

⚙️ The 4 meta-gears

All 4 share the Process colour, because they describe how work flows. The icon tells them apart, and each sub-gear gets lighter along the flow.

Think Tank (CORE) Meta-gear 1

Capture and make sense of what you know.

🔤 What CORE stands for

Capture, Organize, Refine, Express.

⚙️ Sub-gears (4)

  • CaptureCollect inputs, ideas and signals. Its paper tool is the Capture Book.
  • OrganizeStructure and sort what you captured.
  • RefineDistill it and sharpen it.
  • ExpressPut it into words others can use.

🔗 Works with: Document, in the 3D of SOCIETY™ Standardize. Its 4 sub-gears are the 20, 40, 60 and 80% marks of writing a routine down.

Base Camp (MAPS) Meta-gear 2

Plan and align before the work starts.

🔤 What MAPS stands for

Map Priorities, Align People, Process Design, Schedule.

⚙️ Sub-gears (4)

  • Map PrioritiesFind what matters most.
  • Align PeopleAgree on roles and get buy-in.
  • Process DesignDesign the how, at the right process layer.
  • SchedulePut the work in order and give it a time box.

🔗 Works with: the Process Layers Model™ (Strategy, Policy, Workflow, SOP).

Upsurge (AUDI) Meta-gear 3

Put the plan into motion.

🔤 What AUDI stands for

AI, Automate, Delegate, Implement: the order to ask in.

⚙️ Sub-gears (4)

  • AIUse AI for judgement work: writing, analysis, decision support.
  • AutomateTurn repeatable work into a system that runs itself.
  • DelegateHand the rest to the right person, with clear ownership.
  • ImplementDo the work yourself and ship it.

🔗 Works with: the AI Adoption Stages Model™, the Transformation Ladder, and Do and Delegate in 3D.

Compass (LENS) Meta-gear 4

Read where you are against the plan, and correct course.

🔤 What LENS means

A lens, not an acronym: log the gap, evaluate it and note the lesson, then strategize.

⚙️ Sub-gears (3)

  • Log VarianceRecord the gap between plan and actual. “At Risk” flags are logged here.
  • EvaluationFind the cause of the gap and note the lesson.
  • StrategizeChoose the next move from what you learned.

🔗 Works with: the Process Status Model™, on every status.

Which gear turns well in your team, and which only turns when something breaks? The Flow Gears Framework™ keeps all 4 turning, so a good plan is not lost for want of a check.

How it connects

4 gears and their 5 partner models

321 Leap™ uses all 4 gears at every stage, so no gear belongs to 1 stage or 1 unit. Each gear is bound to a partner model instead.

How the 4 Flow Gears connect to their 5 partner modelsSolid lines join each gear to the model it is bound to in the Registry. CORE joins Document in 3D. MAPS joins the Process Layers Model through Process Design. AUDI joins the Transformation Ladder and the AI Adoption Stages Model, and, dashed, Do and Delegate in 3D. LENS joins the Process Status Model.🧠COREThink Tank🎪MAPSBase Camp🚀AUDIUpsurge🧭LENSCompass🌀Do, Document,Delegate (3D)🪜ProcessLayers🗃️TransformationLadder🤖AI AdoptionStages🚦ProcessStatus

How we solve it

🧤 White-Glove, Done-For-You (DFY)

We map how work flows with you. We break each fix into bite-sized, day-to-day actions. Then your team does them, with our Scale Squad at every step, until systems run.

  1. Your flow, mapped with youWe read how work moves through your team, gear by gear, and find the gear that stalls.
  2. Bite-sized daily actionsEach fix becomes a small action your team can finish in a day.
  3. Done through your teamYour team does the work. The Scale Squad hand-holds every step, so the know-how stays with your crew.

It is built so you can step back, most likely with far less stress, if the process is followed properly, with good intention and best effort.

DFY runs until 1. Optimize is complete. From UpLeap (Scale) onward, we work Done-With-You (DWY).
